Heya

It has been a while since my last post, dont worry I'm still working on this website.
At moment I'm developing a new way to display the feeds, a more user friendly way, plus some more features to interact with the users too.
I hope they will be implemented around next month, it will depend on how does the beta testing goes on. I expect to go on beta testing around 15 August.

Meanwhile, the site is still growing and it is now averaging a good amount of daily visitors. I'm expecting to grow even more soon as I'm still working on new ways to promote.

Here's a little update on whats going on with sports news live.

I've just started to promote it heavily, i bought some CPC ads and they are already running. Meanwhile i'm still promoting by other ways, yeah thats secret :)
So i expect a boost, at the daily visits, very soon.

The problem with the page not loading when a user hit the page whne the feeds are being updated is corrected now.
Feeds are updating smoothly.
I'll be adding some more feeds in the next few days, with few i mean one or two weeks.

I've just added three new major sports news sites.
And they are: CBC, Washington Post and USA Today. With a total 39 new feeds, 21 from USA Today, 10 from Washington Post and 8 from CBC.

With so many new feeds i created three new sports categories, which are: Olympics, Amateur Sports and Curling.

Hey sports fanatics,

Has you can see at the righ bar there is a new feature, a poll system. I implemented this to do some sports surveys with my users.
Mostly there will be around 2 surveys per week focusing the "big" sports event at that moment.

The first poll is: Who will win The Queens ATP Tennis ? By now The Queens is on the Semi Finals with Mahut has the underdog here. Oh yeah he defeated Nadal ! :)
By now the poll system is 99% (nothing is 100%:) ) working.

These last days I've been working on the website, mostly promoting it.
I'm open to link exchange with sites related to this one, a sports related site and/or a news site, its ok for general news websites.

I'm aiming to have a pagerank higher than 2 in, approximately, three months (next google rank update).

Now, everytime a user hit a news link, it will open the link in a new window. This is to prevent those lazy peeps to keep hitting, "Go Back" "Go Foward" :)

I've just finished to add nine new feeds, from BBC News and Sky News.

From BBC News: Football, Tennis, Golf, Motor Sport, Boxing, Horse Racing, Cycling and Olympics.
From Sky News: Football.

Plus, did some "background" updates on the website.
Meanwhile we are experiencing some delays in some (very few) users. This is due to the user hitting the home page when the news aggregator is being updated.
I'm corrently working on a solution to prevent any more slow downs.
